Therapy with Louella provides you with a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space to explore challenges in your life. Her personality and counselling approach is grounded, soothing and compassionate. She believes that when we feel calm and relaxed we are most able to engage with what our minds and hearts need to achieve. Louella is a registered psychologist with more than 15 years working with children, adolescents and families. As a parent herself, Louella recognises that pregnancy and transition to parenting is not always smooth sailing, and life with a new baby can be very different from what’s been imagined. Louella is able to provide you with counselling and support for the challenges around these early years.

Louella understands the importance of feeling comfortable and accepted in therapy and provides a space for you, your infant and family in a beautiful and enriching therapeutic space in the heart of Mosman. Informed by attachment theory and inter-personal neurobiology, Louella creates a tailored experience using a variety of evidence based approaches. Through working together through challenges, Louella wishes to facilitate a joyful and connected experience with you and your infant. With a special interest in facilitating bonding through play, Louella is passionate about facilitating connection between you and your children. Louella also has a special interest in helping children adjust to new siblings and family dynamics.

*Medicare rebates are available to those who have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician.  This must be in place prior to the first claimable session.
