Donna is a registered psychologist with over 20 years experience working with families whose journey to parenthood is complicated by loss, premature birth, health or developmental difficulties or social adversity.

Donna has a particular interest in the adjustment to parenting, the process of infants and parents getting to know each other and the emotional ties that link parent wellbeing and childhood wellbeing.

She is therefore, deeply committed to working with clients to strengthen parent-child relationships, promote (prospective) parents’ confidence in their own parenting voice and helping families find their unique way to wellbeing and thriving.

Donna offers individual psychological care to mothers, fathers and other non-birth partners.  She also offers early parenting education and family-focused services for infants and young children (from birth to 5 years) with developmental and or behavioural health challenges.

Donna has extensive experience delivering psychological care via Telehealth and to rural and remote communities.  She particularly welcomes families from the big heart of Queensland.

Donna is mother and coparent to two preadolescent children who continue to teach her a lot about being their parent every day.

Cost: $210 per 50-minute session *Medicare Rebate: $93.25
Out-of-pocket: $116.65 per session

*Medicare rebates are available to those who have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician.  This must be in place prior to the first claimable session.
