Keryn works relationally from an attachment and trauma informed therapeutic orientation and depending on a patient’s needs and preferences, she use a variety of evidence-based approaches including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches.

Keryn’s interest in perinatal mental health and wellbeing stems from the belief that the perinatal period is a time of huge transition and emotional growth whereby both parents and infants often require support to adjust to new roles and the changes of a growing family. Keryn has completed professional development in the perinatal space including the Perinatal Training Centre’s Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Training, Perinatal Non-directive Counselling, The Royal Children’s Hospital Engaging Infants program and The Australian Childhood Foundation’s Bringing Up Great Kids facilitator training.

Finding the right psychologist is one of the most important aspects of therapy and you may have already tried a few different psychologists and felt they weren’t a good fit. Keryn places great importance on building a trusting, collaborative and transparent, therapeutic relationship by providing a safe, contained, and confidential therapeutic space to support you to achieve optimal mental health outcomes and make meaningful changes to improve the life of you and your family.
