Emma is a Registered Psychologist who has worked within community and private mental health settings for the past 12 years and has predominantly supported people with body image concerns, eating disorders, anxiety and depression.

Emma is passionate about supporting individuals within the space of perinatal and infant mental health including pre-conception, pregnancy, postpartum and early parenthood. Emma has a particular interest in body image concerns during pregnancy and postpartum and eating disorders.

Emma values being an authentic, reflective, compassionate and curious psychologist and hopes to create a nurturing therapeutic space that feels safe, supported, collaborative and free from judgement so that individuals can have space to talk through their needs.

Emma draws on relational and developmental frameworks within session and tailors sessions to meet a client’s specific needs. She uses a range of therapeutic approaches within these frameworks including Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Cost: $230 per 50-minute session *Medicare Rebate: $96.65
Out-of-pocket: $133.35 per session

*Medicare rebates are available to those who have a referral and Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician.  This must be in place prior to the first claimable session.
